Rick Del Rio, CPI
Director, Lead Investigator, Case Manager
Rick was born and raised in “Ybor City” (Tampa) Florida. His mother’s family is from Key West and Cuba and his Great Uncle was one of the lighthouse keepers in Key West. He is a retired City of Tampa Code Enforcement Supervisor and retired SMSGT from the Air Force where he specialized in Civil Engineering. Rick currently is the General Manager for a Tampa Construction Company doing underground utilities work. 
Rick is a HAM (Amateur Radio Operator) and an NRA Instructor specializing in Gun Safety and Personal Protection. He spends his weekends as a Rider Coach for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) teaching students how to ride motorcycles.
Rick has always been a skeptic until his Mother came back to visit the family shortly after her death. He is still a “skeptic” but is becoming more convinced with each occurrence.
Rick loves “gadgets” so the interest in infrared photography has led to the purchase of an array of cameras and video recorders as well as EMF meters and voice recorders.

Lori Del Rio, CPI
Founder, Psychic Medium, Senior Investigator
As the oldest child in a military family, Lori was born in Denver, Colorado at Fitzsimmons Army Hospital and later spent several years in the Azores, Portugal. Sh, has three beautiful children, two sons and a daughter, one who is autistic. A former service consultant, Lori is a professional transport driver with a local movement company.
Lori has always been sensitive and empathic to the spirit world. She was told by her mother that she experienced unexplained events and predicted things that later proved to be true. Her great grandmother was sensitive in a time where is was totally unacceptable to talk about such things. Lori sometimes donates her time giving psychic readings as her great grandmother did almost 100 years ago.
Lori is currently working on a Bachelor of Science and in her spare time, creates beaded jewelry to sell when not with her family and her six cats.

Joan Del Rio, CPI
Senior Investigator, Historical Researcher
Joan was born in Springfield, Massachusetts but shortly thereafter was transplanted to the Tampa Bay area where she are her husband (Rick) have 3 grown children (2 daughters and 1 son) and several grandchildren. She spends her week as the Office Manager of a Telecommunications company in Tampa, where she is responsible for all the Accounting/Human Relations functions, and her weekends, as a Rider Coach for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF), teaching students how to ride motorcycles. She’s also a HAM (Amateur Radio Operator) and a certified NRA (National Rifle Association) Instructor specializing in Gun Safety and Personal Protection.
Joan has been around the paranormal all her life since her grandmother was “sensitive”. She has had several experiences of her own but until recently has never talked about them to anyone but family. A recent experience, upon the death of her Mother-In-Law, reinforced her belief in the paranormal and sent the entire family into a quest for more knowledge.

Jennifer Sikes, CPI
Investigator
Jennifer grew up in Jacksonville, FL, the youngest of five children and the only girl. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering in 1997. She began her engineering career working for a regulatory agency and later made the transition to private consulting, with a specialty in the water resources field. She has lived in Orlando since 2001.
Jennifer has been interested in the paranormal since she was a small child and has experienced anomalous activity on numerous occasions. She appreciates the blended approach used by the SPIRITeam and enjoys using the same critical thinking skills that she employs as an engineer to analyze potentially paranormal occurrences.
